A WOMAN is in a serious condition in hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Ballymoney, Co Antrim.

Another three people were also injured in the crash on the Ballymena Road close to the Kilraughts roundabout at around 7.45am on Monday.

Police said one woman was left in a serious condition, while two men and another woman were also taken to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

The collision involving a silver Hyundai i40, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a white Mini.

The route was closed for a time following the crash and police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
