A FOUR-year-old boy who went missing on Sunday night in Cookstown was found safe and well following searches by police and neighbours.
Police said the child was reported missing in The Dales area of the Co Tyrone town on Sunday evening.
A police helicopter and specialist thermal imaging equipment were used in the searches.
The boy was found safe a short time after he was reported missing.
Police thanked people from The Dales and Beechview areas who helped in the search.
