The Script set to headline Tennent's Vital
THE Script have been unveiled as one of the headline acts for this year's Tennent's Vital.
The Dublin rockers will take to the stage at the Boucher Road playing fields on August 30.
Other acts including Kodaline, Annie Mac and Jack Savoretti are also set to perform at the music festival.
It has previously been announced that Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Disciples and Burns will play Tennent's on August 29, as part of the bank holiday weekend festival.
Since the three-piece The Script hit the number one spot with their self-titled debut album in 2008, they've gone from strength to strength, selling out stadiums across the world.
Their 2012 record Hall Of Fame only increased their global stardom and went on to sell over 20 million copies.
Rounding up the Sunday line-up are Irish rockers Kodaline and Annie Mac, who recently landed the job as the new presenter of Radio 1's evening new music show.
Also joining the bill are Clean Bandit, the Grammy-award winning British electronic group whose single Rather Be from their debut album ended 2014 as the year's second best-selling song in the UK and English singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti.
Tickets for Sunday will go on sale on Friday from ticketmaster.ie, with tickets for the Saturday gig already on sale.
