Ubisoft has unveiled a new story trailer for Far Cry 5 ahead of its launch next month, as well as information on a hefty amount of DLC.

The latest instalment of the game takes place in Hope County, Montana, which has been taken over by The Project at Eden’s Gate cult.

Players join the fight alongside locals to try to take the county back.

As well as the new story trailer, Ubisoft revealed the huge amount of post-launch DLC content that will be available to players who pay for a Season Pass.

These traditionally give access to selected extra content at a discount rate or no extra cost, and in the case of Far Cry 5 it’s quite a bundle.

The game’s DLC features three expansion experiences set well away from the main game – one in a zombie-invested world, another during the Vietnam war, and a third battling spiders on Mars.

Not only that, but Season Pass owners will also be able play an updated version of Far Cry 3 before Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is launched as a standalone game later this year.

Far Cry 5 goes on sale on March 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
