The New Yorker has written The Book of Jeremy Corbyn and it's hilarious

“And there came from the land of Britain a prophet, whose name was Jeremy.”
“And there came from the land of Britain a prophet, whose name was Jeremy.” “And there came from the land of Britain a prophet, whose name was Jeremy.”

The New Yorker has given Brits a good laugh with their take on the general election as detailed in The Book of Jeremy Corbyn.

In the entertaining parody of scripture for the American paper, Corbyn is described as the “prophet” while Theresa May is the “High Priestess”.Some standout lines include: “For man cannot live by bread alone, but hummus is quite another matter” as well as a seeming throwback to Brenda from Bristol with: “And the people said, Not another one.”The Book of Jeremy Corbyn has received a lot of praise – and lols – from people on Twitter.

It’s had some high-profile approval, too.

Something to smile about at least.
