1,700 Lego daffodils just appeared in Hull because why not?

They’re super pretty.
They’re super pretty. They’re super pretty.

More than a thousand Lego daffodils have sprung up in Hull to celebrate its status as UK city of culture.

Created by Duncan Titmarsh, the UK’s only certified Lego professional, the construction of 1,700 flowers used an astonishing 146,000 bricks.

People who saw the installation marvelled at how pretty it was.

The display will remain in King Edward Square until April 18, when fans will be able to take a Lego daffodil home in return for a donation to charity. What a nice surprise for a Monday morning!
