We’re gonna go out on a limb here and say you’ve probably never eaten dinner in a swimming pool before.

But that could soon change – if you head along to a restaurant in Brussels, called the Pearl.

NEMO33 – NEMO33 updated their cover photo. | Facebook

The tiny eatery is located five metres below the surface of a pool inside the Nemo33 diving centre.

But there’s a catch (or two). The restaurant can only seat four people, and you have to have a diving diploma to visit. Ah.

If you do dine and dive, you can expect a pretty snazzy experience once you’re down there – we’re talking waiters in wetsuits, and a treat yo’self-menu of lobster, champagne and foie gras, for 99 euro (£84).

You don’t actually have to wear your air tank – or any scuba gear for that matter – while eating either, because the golf-ball shaped eatery is supplied with oxygen and is air tight. So there’s no chance of your food getting soggy, don’t worry.

And the cabin also has several windows to look out of, for seriously tranquil views of the surrounding water.

If you’re not a keen scuba diver, Nemo33 also has a restaurant above water serving Thai food. And it’s great for watching the diving from afar – it features seven windows that look into the dive centre’s pools.

Yep, we’re low-key obsessed with this whole place.
