Conor McGregor’s rise to the top of UFC has had as much to do with his personality as it has his fighting ability.

The Irishman has been given the perfect avenue to show off that personality, as he weighs up a return to UFC ahead of schedule, in an advert for the Pegasus World Cup – a horse racing event with a purse of $12 million.

The sketch, which features comedian Jon Lovitz, sees McGregor happy to mock himself throughout as he proclaims he’ll become the “pound-for-pound number one jockey on the planet”.

We’re definitely fans of McGregor doing some acting, especially when the character he’s playing is one we were already a fan of.

Lovitz has one of the moments of the clip though, launching himself on to a “moron” reporter who’s “ruining our special day”, much to McGregor’s delight as he lets rip one of his signature laughs.

And if that’s got your craving for entertainment from The Notorious at an all time high, UFC head honcho Dana White appeared to confirm at the end of last year McGregor would be featuring in Game Of Thrones when it returns, as a pirate.

That’s not one to miss.
