it's Friday of week 3 and it's the final of I'm A Celebrity. Who will be crowned king or queen - Giovanna, Jordan or Vernon? Join me at 9pm to find out.

If you missed last night's episode here's a recap of the phenomenon that is the Celebrity Cyclone. I'd really like a go on it tbh...

9.07pm  Vernon has to lie flat on his back on a table with his arms and legs shackled for 10 minutes while critters are added every two minutes. That is going to be the longest 10 minutes of his life. He's already convulsing 

9.09pm  A masked torturer has chucked rotten fruit and vegetables over him plus a bazillion maggots

9.10pm  Thousands of cockroaches and crickets have been added to the mix. There is no happy place happy enough for this

9.11pm  Next up, hissing cockroaches. I can hardly watch 

9.12pm  By the way, Vernon is doing this to win a starter for all the campmates and a drink for himself. He has chosen prawn cocktail as his starter and a cup of tea. This is not worth it for a cup of tea

9.13pm  They've poured huge scorpions on to his face. I dunno, would you?

9.14pm  Ant looks uncomfortable watching this

9.16pm  Vernon lasted the full 10 minutes. I'd need counselling after that

9.17pm  Giovanna is next and she has to eat horrible things to win main courses for the camp and a glass of red wine for herself

9.24pm  Fermented duck egg done. Cow's nose next. This isn't taking a fizz out of her

9.25pm  Cheers Ant! Giovanna was doing great until Ant started to talk about the fishy, salty, bloodiness of a fish eye she has in her mouth

9.26pm  Sheep's testicle. Blimey it's huge

9.27pm  Is this what mindful eating looks like? Chewing everything 100 times before swallowing?

9.28pm  Bull's penis and Ant and Dec are on fire tonight with the jokes

9.29pm  That was no bother to Giovanna. I doff my hat to her

9.30pm  "Jordan, your trial is called Iron Maiden. We'll need you to tell us the guitar chords to Fear Of The Dark"

9.34pm  I appear to have misunderstood the trial. Jordan has been locked into a casket and there are snakes crawling all over him. He, meanwhile, is trying to make small talk to distract himself. So far he's asked Ant and Dec if they spend Christmas together

9.37pm  And told them he's read both their books. Jordan's going to win isn't he?

9.38pm  Jordan lasted the 10 minutes and has won desserts for his campmates plus a Guinness for himself

9.39pm  We're going to find out who has come third after this break. Tess Daly's nails are down to the quick

9.49pm  Vernon is saying his goodbyes. Ta rah Sir Lanky-Lot. Farewell Vernon Candy Kay-ne

10pm  Vernon thinks Jordan 'Happy Place' North should win because of his - forgive this slip into X Factor talk - journey

10.03pm  We're seeing Giovanna, Vernon and Jordan's final supper and the food looks amazing

10.04pm  Oh Jordan, you never cease to make me laugh. "This is just like we have it at home; except in plastic glasses"

10.10pm  Giovanna and Jordan are having their exit interview with Ant and Dec 

10.13pm  You know, Giovanna had me at S Club 7

10.21pm  Jordan has been nothing but entertaining from day one; usually unintentionally  

10.25pm  We're on the last ad break of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2020 and we're about to find how who the public has voted to become the first king or queen of the castle. They'll likely be the only king or queen of the castle because it's almost guaranteed that the show will return to Australia next year and we'll have kings and queens of the jungle once more

10.28pm  Has there been a change in Jordan? I'm not sure anyone has mentioned it

10.29pm  The other 10 campmates have joined Ant and Dec, Jordan and Giovanna by Skype. SKYPE! Not Zoom

10.30pm  Giovanna is queen of the castle! 

10.31pm  That throne suits her

10.32pm  Wowzers, has the floral crown always been that large? Could someone please book Giovanna an appointment with the osteopath for the morning

10.33pm  And that's that. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2020 is over. It might have lost a little bit of its magic being set in a cold castle rather than the Australian jungle but we're living in exceptional times and the show was a welcome slice of normality and gave us three weeks of laughter. Thank you I'm A Celebrity and see you next year!
