HONDA has given us a first look at the next iteration of its Civic family car.
The 11th generation model that has been around for almost half a century is due to reach European customers in autumn next year, so there's a bit of a wait.
North American customers can get their new Civics now, though.
The pictures show a design that's an evolution of the current car, rather than one of the sudden swerves in direction that Honda sometimes springs upon us.
It will be offered only as a hybrid, meaning that the company's full line-up - Jazz, upcoming HR-V and the CR-V - will be electrified when the Civic lands.
The new car won't be built in the UK, either. Honda's Swindon factory is closing, so our Civics will come from Japan.
