There were two FF1600 races, with the battle between Philip Harris (No 8) and Robert Johnston (No 33) a particular highlight.

The very quick Roadsports category featured close racing between Jim Larkham (No 20) and his nephew Steven Larkham (No 93). As the lap times tumbled, Steven Larkham took the lead and won the first race by 8 seconds, setting a Roadsports lap record of 58.345 seconds on his way to the chequered flag.
