Electric power for versatile Citroen e-Berlingo
CITROEN has rewired its Berlingo van-with-windows for electric power, writes William Scholes.
The e-Berlingo is the latest vehicle to get the battery and motor set-up already offered in a variety of Peugeot, Vauxhall and DS models, as well as the Citroen e-C4.
That means a pairing of a 50kWh battery with a motor producing 134bhp and up to 192lb ft of torque.
Range is said to be up to 174 miles on a full charge.
Other than the drivetrain, the e-Berlingo retains the versatility and practicality of its internal combustion engined siblings.
It is expected to reach Northern Ireland towards the end of this year.
