McDonald's fans will be thrilled to know that 24 more drive-thrus have opened today, joining the Bangor and Newtownards branches which reopened yesterday.

McDonald's said the following measures have been put in place in line with advice around the coronavirus pandemic:
- Perspex screens at drive-thru windows
- Payment and delivery of food will be contactless
- Staff will have their temperature taken at the start of every shift
- Staff will wear protective equipment
- Limited menu and reduced opening hours with order capped at £25
