CAN we all agree that nothing screams Advent like I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here? Is it really the run-up to Christmas if someone hasn’t eaten a camel’s testicle or become a playground for rats?

The show is in its 19th year and the 2019 campmates are stellar. Caityln Jenner’s in there along with Nadine Coyle, and those two alone would keep Sleb Safari transfixed, but they're joined by the likes of Kate Garraway, Ian Wright, Minty from EastEnders and a gaggle of young 'uns.

Sleb Safari has been glued to it this year. Glued. And it likes all the campmates. Even hangry Ian. The king or queen of the jungle will be named on Sunday and any one of them could wear the crown.

It could be Andrew 'zero bother my end' Maxwell, who has a daily falling out and making up with Ian. It could be Cliff Parisi, whose luxury item was inspired: everyone cheered when he unwrapped a tiny Christmas tree and baubles which was the exact opposite of the reaction they had when Adele Roberts produced her picture of Jane McDonald.

Jacqueline Jossa could wear the crown too. She gets herself into a state before each and every trial and then performs brilliantly and you just wish she'd save herself the distress by remembering her bravery.

James Haskell keeps spirits up, gives pep talks, diffuses tensions and counts bags of beans. Thumbs up James. And Nadine has done the right thing by speaking positively about her Girls Aloud bandmates.

To be fair, the 10 celebrities who walked the plank off the top of a 32-storey building should share the crown. Sleb Safari doesn't think it would even make it out of the city and into camp because that challenge would send it into meltdown.

The celebrities being starstruck by their campmates has been hilarious; Roman Kemp is a huge Arsenal fan and still has a figurine of Ian Wright signed by the footballer nearly two decades ago; Adele squealed with excitement when Nadine taught her a Girls Aloud routine and everyone is fascinated by Caitlyn.

Sleb Safari has a soft spot for Caitlyn too. She's compassionate, sneaking food to hangry Ian and consoling upset camp mates: she’s relentlessly positive and she's obliging.

Caitlyn throws herself into everything from dance routines to a bucket of fish guts. You can tell from her face as she waits to do a trial that she’s anxious but she’s always upbeat and it’s endearing.

And, because of all that, Sleb Safari would like Caitlyn to be crowned queen of the jungle 2019 – and for the picture of her walking across the bridge wearing her crown and holding the winner's staff to break all the Instagram records set by her daughters.

Robbie Williams KO'd before he even gets into boxing ring

THE feud between Robbie Williams and Liam Gallagher has been alive and well for two decades, although its origins are of little interest and have been for many a year. Please, you're grown men in your late 40s. Move along.

Robbie and his wife Ayda Field have a podcast called At Home With The Williamses and he revealed that he had approached boxing promoter Eddie Hearn about organising a fight between him and Liam.

Ayda weighed in with a devastating body blow.

"I think it is embarrassing. You are 45, man. You’re going to go in a ring and smack each other? It’s just lame.

"First of all, neither one of you are at your top, peak form. You are not in your 20s, I hate to break it to you. You are both peppered at this point.

"Your back’s going to go out, your knees are going to buckle. I am going to have to bring you back from the dead after this. I don’t understand it."

Ayda didn't pull any punches now, did she?
