GET yourself down to the Peach Pit and grab a milkshake because Sleb Safari has BIG news.

Ready? Beverly Hills, 90210 is coming back! Except it’s going to be called 90210. Excited? Who wouldn’t be.

Fox says the reboot “comes with a big twist” as “Priestley, Garth, Ziering, Carteris, Green and Spelling will play heightened versions of themselves in a brand-new serialized drama – with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships”.

Heightened versions of themselves? Uh-oh. This is when the fourth wall comes down. In The Trip Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan dismantle the fourth wall with an imperceptible nod and wink but Sleb Safari is going to wager the 90210 cast will tread more heavily, like a galloping elephant with a UTI.

“Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running,” the network explains. What larks!

“But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?”

Ahhhh, Beverly Hills, 90210, the show with the most adult looking teenagers anyone had ever seen. Eventually we all knew why the students at West Beverly Hills High School looked that bit more mature than the people sitting at home watching them – the actors were in their mid to late 20s, or, in Andrea’s case, celebrating her 30th birthday during the first series.

Did it make the newly minted teenager watching it feel inadequate and childish? Of course it did.

Tori Spelling says it's not technically a reboot because there's already been one, with different actors.

"We don’t want to be the last ones like doing the reboot thing, and no one wants to see like old versions of ourselves, but they do want to see us playing our characters, so what we’re doing is the entire cast is playing heightened versions of themselves.

“Think Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes, in an hour-long show, and we’re all playing heightened versions, so it could be fictional, it could be nonfictional, people will have to guess. And then we will have pop-ins, because we’re behind the scenes trying to do the reboot.”

Curb Your Enthusiasm? Heightened versions of Andrea and Brandon? Guessing what's real and what's not? (Clue: none of it will be real). Sleb Safari is down for this groundbreaking telly. Let the good times roll.

Best Dressed at the Oscars

Oscars best dressed was a tough call. So many outfits, so many contenders. There was Gemma Chan in a tiered, hot pink dress with high neck, Melissa McCarthy in a sophisticated spin on a tux complete with a very gorgeous cape and Emma Stone’s rust/ruby dress with exaggerated shoulders in a fabric which Sleb Safari would love to see IRL. Was it made of scales? Fur? Sleb Safari needs answers.

How and ever there could only be one winner. Step forward Billy Porter. Exquisite. More of this please.

Current mood: Fat Rat

THE injustice of it. The sun’s out, you’re flaunting your curves in the hope a Daily Mail photographer is lurking and bam, that bit of extra padding you gained during winter messes everything up.

You know what Sleb Safari is talking about, right? It’s the fat rat who got stuck trying to squeeze out of a small hole in a manhole cover in a German town. Come on, who isn’t a fat rat in February?

Firefighters worked alongside an animal rescue team and the rat was eventually freed and returned to the sewer. The expression on its face as it tried to squeeze out of the hole is priceless and has brought Sleb Safari so much joy.
