IF YOU go down to the woods, or theatre, your in for a big surprise as The Gruffalo's Child tiptoes into Belfast's Lyric Theatre. Direct from a smash-hit West End season, this musical adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler promises songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged three and above.

The live show is produced by internationally acclaimed children’s theatre company, Tall Stories, who has adapted a number of Donaldson's books including The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and The Snail and the Whale.

Audiences join the Gruffalo's Child one wild and windy night after she ignores her father’s warnings about the Big Bad Mouse and tiptoes out into the deep dark wood. She follows snowy tracks and encounters mysterious creatures – but the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist... does he?
