DERRY

Dog Trails NI is a new venture bringing canicross classes and training to Northern Ireland. Join in on Saturday at Benone Beach for a free taster session where you will learn the basics, get to try out some kit and work as a team with your dog. This is a free event but booking is required. Places are limited so don't miss out. You don't need to be a runner to take part – interest in giving it a go, and a four-legged training buddy are all you need.

DOWN

Newry Town Hall is the venue for Dirty Dancing on Thursday April 5. Enjoy an Epic night of music featuring hits from the greatest dance movies of all time. An all singing, all dancing, high energy fun concert spectacular.

ARMAGH

This Thursday and Friday children can enjoy the Easter holidays at the Easter Craft Club at the Palace Stables where they can get their hands dirty making traditional Easter crafts, take part in egg decorating, games and an Easter egg hunt. The arts and crafts club has a fully supervised lunch and is suitable for children aged five to 12.

FERMANAGH

Join Borderline Players for a rollicking fun-filled pantomime adventure, Sinbad at the Ardhowen Theatre, April 6-8. Packed with lashings of Eastern promise, Turkish delights, swashbuckling pirates, salty sea dogs and a cheeky monkey.

TYRONE

The Fureys return to the Alley Theatre this Friday for another great night of music, songs and stories in this their 40th anniversary year. Hear them sing their timeless classics including I Will Love You, Sweet 16, Green Fields Of France, Red Rose Café and many more.

ANTRIM

An Irish Dancing Story – Celebrating 90 Years of Festival in Larne, 1928-2018, Larne Museum and Arts Centre. This exhibition explores the history of Irish dancing in the borough and beyond, 90 years after the first festival took place in Larne. Includes dresses, photographs and other artefacts. Open to the public from Saturday April 7 until Wednesday May 23, including Saturday opening on April 7 and May 5.

BELFAST

The Irish Vegan Festival is coming to the Europa Hotel Belfast on Sunday and is a charity event by Farplace Animal Rescue. Browse stalls, enjoy talks and kids' zone –all welcome to this cruelty-free event. Tickets on the door or in advance at irishveganfestival.com.
