MOVE over Gruffalo, as the West End hit and Olivier Award nominated production Room On The Broom will be making it's Northern Ireland debut when it flies into Belfast and Derry this month.

Adapted from the spellbinding picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, Room On The Broom tells the story of a friendly witch, her cat and three loveable animals who take to the skies and face a dragon in a magical, musical adventure.

Audiences can travel with them on their broomstick when they pick up some hitch-hikers – a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a crazy frog. With enchanting puppetry, original sing-a-long songs and laughs, Room On The Broom is ideal for families with children aged three and up.

Donaldson and Scheffler together have written and illustrated over 20 books, including The Gruffalo. The stage production is created by critically acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories.

:: Room On The Broom is at Belfast's Lyric Theatre from March 22-25 (lyrictheatre.co.uk) and Derry's Millennium Forum on March 30 and 31 (millenniumforum.co.uk).
