DERRY'S Playhouse is the venue for Wigglegiggle, an energetic mash-up of words and rhythms for pre-schoolers. Designed to engage children's imaginations and to enchant their eyes and ears, Wigglegiggle will fuse words and music with the silliest of sounds and some very interesting moves.

The show, by Replay Theatre Company and Nottingham Playhouse, is inspired by conversations with children themselves, taking as a starting point the substantial research around how music and rhythm can develop listening and language skills in this age group.

“This show will excite and intrigue children with what language can do – and what they can do with language,” says Áine McCarron, Theatre Programmer at The Playhouse.

:: Wigglegiggle comes to The Playhouse on May 13 at 11am and 2pm. For tickets visit www.derryplayhouse.co.uk or telephone (028) 7126 8027.
