BANBRIDGE-based construction group Kane says it has secured £25 million in projects within the industrial and healthcare sectors, in line with its ambitious growth plans.

In an eight-month contract due to start this June, Kane will deliver the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering (MEP) design and build contract at a health & wellbeing centre which will provide a community with GP and outpatient services.

And within the industrial sector, it will deliver its innovative design and offsite solutions for a heavy industrial project, going on site from November.

Full details of the contracts have not yet been revealed.

The firm's managing director Cathal McMullan said: “Kane are delighted to have secured projects in targeted diversified sectors, in line with our growth strategy.

“We have a highly skilled team who have the transferable skills to deliver innovative design and manufacturing capabilities in a wide range of sectors”.

Kane (www.kanegroup.co.uk), which employs 250 staff at offices in Banbridge, London, Glasgow and in the Republic, works in all areas of design, mechanical, electrical, public health, prefabrication and fit out projects in the residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors.
