LEEDS-based digital marketing agency Twentysix is to open a new office in Northern Ireland, creating 20 jobs.

Set up in 2005, the company said the move is part of its long-term growth plan. It follows new contracts secured with Tag Heuer, Holland & Barrett and CIPD.

TwentySix, which also operates from offices in London and New York, is a subsidiary of the marketing group MSQ Partners. MSQ also owns the Holywood-based Smarts PR agency.

The Leeds firm said it will initially work out of the Smarts office in Co Down, with a view to eventually establishing its own premises.

MSQ is ultimately owned by the LDC (Lloyds Development Capital) private equity investment firm.

Commenting on the move, Twentysix chief executive Ryan Scott said: “We’re incredibly excited to be joining one of the most energetic tech hubs in Europe.

“An abundance of local talent combined with recent investment in the region’s tech sector is what drew us to Belfast, and we know this city will be a great fit for our business.

“Our accelerated adoption of remote and flexible working gives us confidence to seamlessly integrate remote talent into the Twentysix team, and we’re also excited about what this means for our global clients.”
