FinTrU seek latest recruits via government funded skills academy

IRISH financial services firm FinTrU is seeking more graduates for its government backed assured skills academy.

Largely based in Belfast and Derry, the financial services group’s growth has been boosted by the Department for the Economy funded academies.

Some 40 more places are now open for graduates at either Belfast Met or the North West Regional College and Ulster University.

Successful applicants will receive a four-week training programme leading to a potential offer of employment with FinTrU in their Belfast or Derry office.

Claire Brennan from FinTrU said: "To date, over 600 FinTrU employees have joined us through the academy.

“FinTrU is continuing to expand globally so it’s the perfect time for those who have recently graduated, or those who simply wish to make a career change, to join us on this exciting journey.”

Applications for are open until March 21 2022 and interviews will be held between March 28 and April 6 2022.

Economy Minister Gordon Lyons said: “Assured skills academies have a strong track record of providing high quality training whilst also providing businesses with the skills and talent they need to grow.

“With no experience needed participants will receive practical, real-world training and be well placed to compete for a job with FinTrU after the training.

“With a weekly training allowance of £155 also provided, this is an excellent opportunity and I urge anyone who is interested and eligible to apply.”
