A RECRUITMENT agency specialising in technical engineering roles has announced plans to create 20 jobs in Belfast.

Vickerstock, which has offices in both Dublin and Belfast, also works with the construction, agri-food and professional services sectors.

Set up in 2008, the recruiter said it’s expanding its presence in Belfast by investing in a new city centre premises.

It follows what the firm described as significant growth.

The 20 new positions are expected to be created this year to meet demand from local and international clients based within Northern Ireland.

Company director, Darren McVicker, said Vickerstock have invested heavily in a new training and development program to support the growth.

“Our purpose is to help people achieve their aspirations through work, this investment will help us to deliver this on a larger scale,” he said.

“Helping people has without question supported the creation of these new roles, we’re excited about how our future looks within Northern Ireland and beyond.”
