THE Northern Ireland Chamber will keep its flagship annual conference a strictly digital affair when it returns next week.

The online event on Wednesday September 15 will address transformative leadership and digital innovation, with ITV’s business development director, Jason Spencer sharing his insights.

Attendees will also hear Bob & Berts founder Colin McClean discuss the coffee chain’s growth story and how it has embraced digital diversification.

Helen Houghton and Jo-Ann Feely from AMS will also explore the emerging trends in talent acquisition, while Celine Doyle from headline sponsor Dublin Airport will tackle the hot topic of hybrid working and what it means for organisations which prioritise talent retention.

David Meade will host the event and share some of his own practical tips on networking.

Louise Turley, who heads the events team at NI Chamber, said: “The annual conference is one of our flagship events and we are thrilled that it is returning for 2021.

“The past 18 months have brought about seismic change and there are emerging trends that business people in Northern Ireland must get to grips with, if we are to maintain a competitive edge.

“This event is about uncovering what some of these mean practically for companies and employees here.”

Dublin Airport boss Vincent Harrison said the organization is delighted to continue its sponsorship of the event.

“Northern Ireland is a key market for Dublin Airport and this fantastic event provides a great opportunity to engage with the business community, particularly after the challenges of the last 18 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
