Security firm ESS adds six new jobs

BELFAST security and fire safety business ESS has created six jobs as a result of continued business growth and contract wins.

Throughout the pandemic, it has continued to provide essential services across some of the north’s most vital sectors, landmarks, premises, and projects.

In recent months, the business has seen strong growth in energy, delivering security services to a number of high-profile infrastructural projects including ‘Gas To The West’.

ESS’s long-standing contracts in sectors including agri-food, banking and retail have also been bolstered by its offering of on-site monitoring and vacant property management.

And following contract wins in late 2020 and early 2021, the company is now seeking to recruit for a number of positions including fire alarm engineers, security engineers, access control/gate engineers and warehouse assistants.

ESS director David McCullough said: “Our continued growth is testament to the efforts of our committed and resilient workforce. To be able to create a host of high-quality and new jobs at this time speaks volumes about our standing and reputation as security and fire safety service deliverers.

“We would invite applications right across the board from people with experience in the security and fire safety sector. This really is an exciting period for the business and we look forward to welcoming new team members, and continued growth in the months ahead.”

David added: “ESS has been in business for 47 years, with the last 12 months representing a year like no other, for ourselves, wider society, and the local economy.”
