NOMINATIONS have opened for the 24th running of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme in Ireland, with submissions to be made between now and March 16.

The programme has consistently supported entrepreneurs who are actively seeking to take their businesses to the next level, and EY says it looks forward to welcoming another cohort of talented and resourceful entrepreneurs into the alumni.

Rob Heron, partner lead for EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Northern Ireland, said: “It's been an incredibly tough period of trading for many entrepreneurs, with others well positioned to innovate and grow during a period of unprecedented change.

“But we have been uplifted to see so many of our alumni supporting, trading and collaborating with each other in the last year – the network has never been more relevant than in 2020 – 2021.

“Entrepreneurs will be a central part of the recovery on the island of Ireland following the pandemic, and we are keen to hear from a broad array of nominees, across industries, age, gender, location and background.

“We’re urging all entrepreneurs to consider putting themselves forward, and for people to encourage entrepreneurs in their families and networks to get involved.”

The programme - which has had a number of prominent Northern Ireland winners in the past - is open to entrepreneurs from all sectors and growth stages across the island.
