CBRE Belfast team completes management buy-out of UK firm

THE Northern Ireland management team of property consultancy CBRE has completed a management buy-out of the UK-wide firm CBRE UK.

The Belfast-based management team, led by Brian Lavery (managing director), Robert Ditty and Gerard McCann, says it has arranged an agreed structure which will allow for operational flexibility, whilst retaining its position as an affiliate of CBRE.

Mr Lavery: “We're pleased this restructuring will give us more autonomy over the running of our Northern Ireland business, while at the same time retaining the benefits of remaining part of the world’s largest commercial real estate consultancy, with all of the resources and research at its disposal.

“There will be no change in the unrivalled services we offer to our clients and we intend to grow the Belfast office further in the coming months and years.”

The new structure took effect on January 1.
