Kainos names entrepreneur Rosaleen as independent non-executive director

SERIAL entrepreneur and globally-recognised business leader Rosaleen Blair is to take up a role as non-executive director of stellar-growth Belfast IT provider Kainos Group from January 1.

Founder and chair of workforce solutions industry Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), she will join the nominations and remuneration committees at Kainos, which operates across the specialist business areas of digital services and its Workday practice.

Rosaleen served as chief executive of AMS for 23 years, leading the business from a start-up to a global business (it has 4,500 employees operating in 90 countries) working in partnership with clients such as Deloitte, HSBC, Novo Nordisk, Rolls Royce and Santander.

An adviser to numerous companies, she is also chair of Everywoman, an organisation dedicated to the advancement of women in business.

She is involved in several not-for-profit initiatives, serving as chair of the London Irish Centre and as an Enterprise Fellow of the Prince’s Trust. She is chairing EY’s World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2021.

Recognised as an industry leader and entrepreneur, Rosaleen has won numerous awards including Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year (2007) and EY London Entrepreneur of the Year (2006). She was awarded a CBE for services to business and recruitment in the New Year’s Honours in 2017
