RIVER House business centre in Coleraine has launched a ‘home hub’ service which includes a dedicated turnkey audio-visual studio for live stream, zoom and Podcast.

It provides office workers with a flexible and affordable work space equipped with all the comforts of home but with all the compliancy, professionalism, connectivity, technology and privacy required for working and running a business.

The offer at River House (www.riverhousecoleraine.co.uk) gives new and existing businesses, and those adapting to post-pandemic working conditions, the option to inexpensively open satellite offices in Coleraine to accommodate social distancing and protect their employees’ and clients’ health and safety.

It will also minimise commuter time for people previously travelling to the cities to do business.

Rolling monthly contracts are an option so clients can quickly react to their business finance trajectory.

A range of grade A office spaces have been designed to be configured to suit most business needs, along with executive conference and meeting rooms.

River House manager Nigel Wilson said: “Since the start of lockdown we've experienced a 30 per cent growth in new business.

“So many business people across a range of sectors are realising the benefits of working closer to home and are adapting to a new way of working, and physical location is no longer a primary concern for businesses.

“We have adapted quickly. We offer single desks, shared, adaptable working spaces or private and larger offices depending on our tenant’s needs – and the response has been brilliant.

“Our new AV studio offers businesses the opportunity to hire the space by the hour to do their Zoom conferencing and to create video and podcast content to allow them to target a global audience.

“We recognise privacy is essential in business, so all of our tenants have their own lockable door and access to the building 24/7.

“There are also excellent kitchen facilities, lift access to all floors and a 250-space free car park with an accessible loading bay for goods and accessible users.”

“We have always known there is an emerging market for distance meetings and growing demand for small and private office space. Meetings, learning and training are increasingly being delivered online – and we can meet that demand.

“Employers and employees have experienced the success of remote working, and many want to carry on with the arrangements set up as a response to Covid-19.

“For example, many people see now that commuting wastes significant time, money and adds to employee stress.

“With no upfront capital costs, our tenants receive one easy monthly bill for rent, rates, heating, electricity, WiFi, cleaning, security, insurance. They are not tied into lengthy tenancy agreements and expensive overheads.

“We recognise that all businesses are operating in uncertain times, and we went to support them with practical solutions. We know it is almost impossible to commit to long-term arrangements such as a new lease until we see how quickly the economy recovers.”
