London software company Inbotiqa creates 14 jobs in new Belfast tech hub

LONDON-based financial services software specialist Inbotiqa is recruiting 14 staff for a new technical hub in Belfast, its first investment in Northern Ireland and one which will bring £700,000 a year in additional salaries.

Inbotiqa's work primarily focuses on drastically reducing the time companies spent on email management.

Its specialist platforms allowing users to track, manage and action emails within high-volume group mailboxes and helping reduce operational risk and costs by optimising and automating.

Three of the planned posts are already in place, with recruitment under way in other roles ranging from QA testing and machine learning engineers to technical implementation managers and tech support.

Inbotiqa chief executive Liza Russell said: “With many employees still working from home, it's vital teams can communicate effortlessly, even when not sitting beside each other.

“Our YUDOmail platform takes some of the stress out of working remotely and helps teams to carry out their work efficiently and support each other.”

She added: “New staff at our Belfast tech hub will focus on developing the platform’s machine learning capabilities and will play a key role in contributing towards our growth plans. By supporting our tech resources across the globe, it will help us to provide a ‘follow-the-sun’ 24/7 service to our clients.”

Last year Invest NI, which has offered the company £84,000 towards the creation of the new jobs, invited Inbotiqa’s senior management team to Belfast to showcase the opportunities the local tech sector has to offer and introduce the company to various stakeholders including local stakeholders and investors.

The agency's chief executive Kevin Holland said: “The way we all work and collaborate has changed, and it is now vital companies can communicate easily.

“Inbotiqa has a strong vision to digitally transform the way companies communicate both internally and with clients, and essentially change the way we do business.

“Its new Belfast hub is a welcome addition to the Northern Ireland tech sector and we were delighted to assist the company with direct insight into the local business landscape.”
