LAW firm McKees has opened a new pop-up signing station at the Boucher Centre in Belfast.

It will facilitate the swearing of affidavits and statutory declarations, the witnessing of deeds and wills, and certifying identity documents and copy documents.

McKees is providing this service free of charge, in lieu of clients and colleagues simply making a donation to the firm’s charity partner, the International Justice Mission.

The signing station operates by appointment only and will be open each Monday and Wednesday from 10am to noon 12pm (to book an appointment email Grainne Verner at grainne.verner@mckees-law.com)

Chris Ross, managing partner of McKees, said: “Due to the restriction in place over recent months, people are more conscious of their movements and the places they visit.

“We hope this convenient location with free parking outside the front door will help people avoid busy buildings and confined spaces and enable our clients and colleagues to have documents signed and witnessed in a matter of minutes.

“The last number of months have demonstrated how important it is for the business community across Northern Ireland to come together and help each other, so we are also offering other law firms free use of this facility if they wish to extend this service to their own clients,” he added.
