CO DOWN construction group Graham has secured two water hygiene contracts with Derry City and Strabane District Council and Ards and North Down Borough Council.

The three-year contract in the north-west involves the provision of preventative maintenance and risk assessments around Legionella, cover 120 council properties from leisure facilities to offices.

The Ards and North Down Borough Council contract, covering a period of one-year with a possible two-year extension, is a new partnership that requires Graham to manage and monitor Legionella across 85 council buildings.

The group’s operations director, Martin Gillespie, said: “We are already servicing Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and the addition of two further contracts with major councils is testament to the expertise that we offer.”

He added: “It’s particularly pleasing to have been awarded a third consecutive term with Derry City and Strabane District Council, which demonstrates the consistently high standards of service that our team has been providing.

“New business with Ards and North Down Borough Council is also a great opportunity for us to put our stamp on Legionella service provision in this significant council area.”
