CONCRETE products manufacturer AG, formerly Acheson Glover, has a fresh organisational structure at the top of the company as it looks create a pipeline of new roles at senior and middle management level to drive business growth.

Former head of specifications Rodney Davidson has move to the role of commercial director, reporting directly into new chief executive Stephen Acheson, formerly managing director. Brian Mulgrew takes up the position of sales development executive Ireland to capitalise on a lucrative market.

These three roles have created the opportunity for further restructuring at a senior/middle management level with internal promotion opportunities as well as the creation of four new roles across the UK and Ireland.

The restructure follows a positive year for AG (www.ag.uk.com), with an 18 per cent increase in sales and an ever-growing demand from the UK and Republic for the high quality commercial products manufactured at its six sites across Northern Ireland.

Stephen Acheson said: “There’s a real energy in the market at the moment that is driving interest and demand in our products, which tend to be used for housing, commercial and public realm projects across the UK and Ireland.

"We’re seeing increased sales from across the water as well as further south which has led us to realise the necessity for senior sales roles in each of the geographies we service to drive commercials on the ground and forge strong relationships as we spread our reach further than we ever have before.

“The new senior structure is arguably the most dynamic team we’ve had, with extensive years’ experience in the sector as well as a long-standing knowledge of the business. We’re now in an ideal position to reap the rewards of a booming housing market, investments in urban infrastructure and commercial developments in key locations across the UK and Ireland.”
