A FIRST-of-its programme to give Northern Ireland chief executives the chance to tap into an international network of the world's most experienced and successful entrepreneurs will kick off in the US this Friday.

Catalyst Inc's 'Way to Scale' initiative will give 10 business heads from the north the chance to participate in a week-long intensive residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme along with more than 50 international CEOs in the world leading technology and business university, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge Massachusetts.

The three-month programme, supported by Invest NI and Belfast City Council, continues with bespoke workshops in Catalyst Inc, and another week in Boston at MassChallenge HQ, which will focus on go-to-market strategies to deliver scalable business models for each company.

Aimed at highly ambitious chief executives and entrepreneurs from technology, science and engineering sectors who are planning to grow business internationally, the programme is suited at those who want to learn from the best and become the most successful.

Catalyst Inc’s John Knapton said: “Every single participant will come away with more confidence, ambition, leadership and strategic skills, as well as creating a lifetime cohort of local and international peers who can give them ongoing support.”
