THE Armagh-based Cross Group has been selected to partner with one of the UK’s leading privately-owned construction firms.

The Cross Group will partner with Wates Sustainable Technology Services, part of the Wates Group, following the successful ‘pitch’ of the company’s Sintra Pulsion technology at a ‘Dragons Den’ style competition.

Sintra Pulsion - new to the UK and Ireland - is a unique, patented solution for temperature control of large spaces, providing a comfortable, draft-free environment, with constant temperature to +/- 1 degree C. These conditions can be maintained regardless of the size or height of the building. This means any space can be accurately temperature controlled, logistic warehouses, factories, hangars, swimming pools even sports stadiums.

Commercial director for the Cross Group, Joe Conway welcomed the new partnership.

“We are delighted to be working with Wates. The partnership scheme with them is a superb initiative, and ideal for promoting our technology," he said.

Andrew Nesbitt, Cross Group managing director added:

“Our new partnership with the Wates Group will deliver a predicted increase in our turnover of £15 million over the next five years, creating new jobs and security for the future of the business”
