RICS in awards call to Northern Ireland’s most inspirational property projects

THE search has begun to find the most outstanding local building projects is on following the opening of entries for the RICS Northern Ireland 2019 Awards, which celebrate projects that provide real value to the communities they serve by making them a better place to live, study, work or visit.

The eight categories available to enter in are Building Conservation, Residential, Commercial, Infrastructure, Regeneration, Community Benefit, Design Through Innovation and Tourism & Leisure.

The esteemed Project of the Year title will be awarded to the development that demonstrates outstanding best practice and an exemplary commitment to adding value to its local area.

The Tropical Ravine won the Project of the Year title at this year’s RICS Awards and it will now compete against regional winners at the national awards in London this Friday for the chance to be crowned the 2018 UK Project of the Year.

Each of the eight category winners from across Northern Ireland have also been entered into the national RICS Awards Grand Final to compete against other regional winners in the hope of winning the national accolade in their respective category.

Entries to the RICS Awards 2019 will close on January 25 and the Northern Ireland awards take place on May 30 at Crowne Plaza Belfast. For more information and to nominate a project visit www.rics.org/awards.
