PROPERTY services provider Savills has relocated to Longbridge House in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.

The multinational firm has for the last 13 years been based at Lesley Studios on May Street, growing its team from two people to more than 20.

Office head Ben Turtle said: “This move is a milestone for Savills in Belfast. Our business has evolved greatly and the new space effectively positions us for a further period of growth and expansion.”

CGDM Construction was tasked with designing the office space for the firm, which promotes the wellbeing and productivity of the Savills workforce using the highest quality of workmanship and materials.

The new office is cutting edge in terms of its contemporary design and seismic attention to detail. Special bespoke elements include a signature feature wall created by Chris Mullan of TODD.

Mr Turtle added: “Longbridge House is a unique site in the Cathedral Quarter neighbourhood and the space will deliver best in class facilities for our staff and clients for many years to come.”

Savills has handled some of the largest property investment deals in Northern Ireland, most notably acting for Wirefox in 2017 on their acquisition of Castlecourt shopping centre for more than £120m.

Other recent deals it brokered include the leasing of Erskine House to HM Revenue and Customs accommodating over 1,600 new employees on Chichester Street.

Longbridge House, a four-storey building on Waring Street, was bought by the Holywood property investment and development firm Wirefox in May 2016.

Since then, the interior of the building has undergone a complete refurbishment resulting in three upper floors of grade A office space with ground floor restaurants.

Savills Belfast is a multi-disciplinary office offering a range of commercial property services across all sectors including investment and capital markets, agency incorporating retail, office, industrial and residential, management and professional services including valuation and landlord and tenant.
