BANGOR-based digital agency Eyekiller has taken its first bite of the Big Apple after Symphony Space, a Broadway performance venue in New York City, hired the company to design its website.

Eyekiller, which is expanding its team as a result of the new business, offers creative, development and digital marketing services that enable clients to maximise the business potential of the internet.

The US venture is a first for the company, which has benefited from a range of Invest NI support towards its marketing, job creation and skills investments (the latest offer £36,000 towards marketing, job creation and skills).

Jamie Robinson, creative director at Eyekiller, said: “Securing our first US contract is a milestone achievement and one we hope will leverage further sales outside Northern Ireland.

"Working with Invest NI has enabled us to accelerate our business development plans which included recruiting four new staff to complement our talented team.

“We are working hard to break into new markets and build awareness of our services across a variety of industries in Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and further afield.”

Eyekiller’s core expertise is in website design and development services. In addition, the company offers a range of support services such as hosting and the provision of web maintenance services.

The company further distinguishes itself by offering a complete catalogue of bespoke, in-house created content management, e-marketing and commerce software solutions.

Invest NI southern regional manager Mark Bleakney said: “We are delighted to be supporting Eyekiller to expand its workforce, increase its market share and develop the skills required to realise its growth ambitions.

"Securing this US customer is an accolade that will bolster its brand awareness campaign, particularly in Republic of Ireland and Great Britain and help the company to leverage new sales.

“The high value skilled jobs created at Eyekiller is good news for Ards and North Down and will support the company to deliver the growing demand for its services.”
