LEADING Belfast fit-out firm Portview has just completed work on a new London store for luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co.

The new concept store in the heart of Covent Garden boast a bright interior and according to the retailer is designed to encourage creative interaction and play.

Measuring 200 sq m (2,153 sq ft) the open space includes bold typographical wall visuals as well as carefully selected paint finishes and textiles. The store also features a floor-to-ceiling screen, group seating and wall graphics as well as a a world-first Tiffany fragrance vending machine.

Portview managing director, Simon Campbell said they were delighted to work with the company once again.

“We are honoured that Tiffany & Co. has entrusted us with a number of their stores over the years. The concept store was particularly exciting, as it offered an entirely new design concept with plenty of interactive features and quirky décor that’s unlike any other Tiffany store we’ve worked on," he said.

“The space encourages shoppers to think outside the little blue box and engage in various forms of self-expression, personification and product innovation. We’re delighted that both client and shopper feedback has been so positive, and we wish the entire Tiffany & Co. team all the best of luck with the store," Mr Campbell added.

Established in 1975, fit-out specialist, Portview's long list of clients include leading international brands in the retail, leisure, office and stadia sectors such as Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and Wembley Stadium.

Last year the Belfast-based company reported record turnover of over £43 million - a 7 per cent rise on the previous year. In a strong set of financial results profit before tax at the leading contractor also grew by a massive 72 per cent in 12 months, from £3.2m to £5.5m.
