Award-winning Belfast company Flint studios has reported 24 per cent year on year growth for the first quarter of 2018.

The digital agency who received the digital DNA company of the year 2017 title, has also predicted an increase in year on year sales of 14 per cent by the end of 2018.

Flint Studios was ranked number 13 in the 2016 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, which ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Earlier this year the company announced an £800,000 investment and the creation of ten new jobs in partnership with Invest NI.

Its growth has been fuelled by its strategic merger with Cheshire-based Link Information Technology Limited and the customer acquisition of Creative Metrics in Derry last year.

Managing director at Flint studios, Jeremy Biggerstaff said:

“Uncertainty around Brexit and the ongoing deadlock at Stormont have unfortunately presented a challenging environment for businesses. For us, to still achieve significant growth despite these challenges, is extremely pleasing.

“The Link Technology Ltd. merger and Creative Metrics acquisition led to an increased presence in Great Britain and the North West of Ireland resulting in a 200-strong portfolio of high-calibre clients right across the UK and Ireland.

“Our strategy is to achieve continued year on year growth until 2020 and ultimately become one of the top digital agencies in the UK and Ireland. These recent growth figures prove Flint studios is thriving within the digital arena and are a strong indication we are well on our way to achieving our ambitious growth strategy.”
