GLOBAL fast food giant McDonalds has launched a long-awaited delivery service for the city of Belfast.
The McDelivery service is now available to anyone living within one and a half miles of Belfast’s Westwood, Boucher Road, Donegall Place, Shore Road and Connswater restaurants.
As part of a partnership with UberEats Belfast customers can now have their favourite McDonald’s menu items delivered to their door, joining over one million customers in the rest of the UK who have used the service since its inception last year.
East Belfast McDonald's franchisee, Paul McDermott said they are delighted to now be able to offer the service.
"Delivery is something that our customers often ask about so it’s exciting that we’re now able to provide our freshly made, great tasting food in a way that suits their busy lives."
Kieran Harte, Managing director of Uber in Northern Ireland added: "We're really excited to be launching Uber Eats with McDelivery this month. People can now get great food at the touch of a button delivered straight to their home or office. We have partnered with thousands of restaurants across the UK and we're delighted to be expanding further."
