FOOD-on-the-go retailer Greggs has opened its 13th company-managed shop in Northern Ireland, creating 12 jobs in the process.

The new shop, located on Main Street in Larne will offer the full range of Greggs’ products – from its famous baked savouries and freshly ground-to-order coffee menu to confectionery products, soups, sandwiches and its popular Balanced Choice range.

Also available will be Greggs’ great value breakfast deal, which includes a bacon, sausage or egg roll plus a hot drink from only £2.

To coincide with the arrival of the festive season, local customers will also be able to try Greggs new Christmas lines, which includes both sweet and savoury treats - from the iconic Greggs Festive Bake, Christmas Lunch Sandwich and Toastie to Sweet Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding Biscuits and a Gingerbread Muffin.

“I’m very excited to lead the team which will bring Greggs to Larne for the first time,” said Julie Knight, manager of Greggs Larne.

“The new shop is located in the centre of the town – making it the perfect place for local people to enjoy breakfast or lunch during their working day – or indeed for a shopping pit-stop. We’re really looking forward to bringing Larne a taste of Greggs.”

The new shop is open Monday to Saturday (7am to 6pm) and Sunday (9am to 5pm)
