A TOTAL of 15 jobs are to be created through three new store openings at The Outlet, Banbridge.

Ahead of the festive shopping season over £100,000 has been invested at the shopping centre by cookware and kitchenware retailer ProCook, women's fashion store Klass and Card Centre.

For ProCook it will be the company's first store in Ireland, with the UK chain joining existing retailers such as Nike Factory Store, Next Outlet, Marks & Spencer Outlet, Jaeger, L.K. Bennett and Paul Costelloe.

The three new stores have created 15 jobs at the Banbridge centre, which has seen an 18 per cent increase in footfall since April 2016 and a 24 per cent rise in sales since August 2016.

Centre manager, Chris Nelmes said The Outlet continues to go from strength-to-strength.

“The new stores will be a great addition for shoppers in the run up to the busy Christmas shopping period and there will be plenty of offers across all stores.

“Our aim is to provide a top class shopping experience and we will continue to grow and invest in the centre to bring new changes on-site and new retailers in the lifestyle, fashion and food and beverage categories.”

ProCook is a specialist cookware company with 31 stores in the UK, while Klass offers women’s fashion for all ages and Card Centre stocks an extensive range of quality greeting cards, gifts and seasonal merchandise.
