Budget airline Jet2 recruiting for 50 new Belfast staff

Airline Jet 2 has announced it is taking on 50 new staff at Belfast International Airport as part of a UK-wide recruitment drive

BUDGET airline Jet 2 has announced it is create 50 new jobs in Belfast as part of a UK-wide recruitment drive.

Jet2, who fly from Belfast International Airport to a host of European countries including; Spain, Greece, Portugal and Turkey as well as operate a route to New York, is looking for pilot, cabin crew and ground operations staff and plan to fill over 1,700 positions across the UK.

The expansion is being fuelled by a 13 per cent capacity increase next summer, with the company having 9.8 million seats on sale in the UK. This biggest ever summer programme includes almost 200,000 seats to 23 destinations from Belfast.

To help recruit new staff at the third largest UK airline Jet2 is hosting a recruitment roadshow at Maldron Hotel Belfast International Airport on Tuesday September 19.

The roadshow has been designed to support the recruitment of pilot and cabin crew positions at Belfast International Airport as the company continues to grow. The roadshow will offer the chance to meet members of the team, receive expert advice and information about the various roles on offer with an informal chat.
