SUCCESSFUL females from all types of career and business background in the north are being reminded to submit their entries for the 2016 Women in Business Awards in association with Alexander Mann Solutions by the noon deadline on Monday October 3.

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Ramada Plaza, Shaw's Bridge Belfast on November 17, hosted by popular television presenter Pamela Ballantine.

There are 11 categories this year and for the first time there will be two winners, one with a corporate background and the other an entrepreneur, in four of the categories.

Women in Business chief executive Roseann Kelly said: “This is the sixth year of the Women in Business Awards and the calibre of entries never fails to impress me.

“We've already received a significant number of submissions from a diverse range of business sectors and there's still time to get involved.

“We fully understand the time pressures business people are under and as such we've created a simple and straightforward online application process. Full details on each can be found at, along with entry forms.”

She added: “I would urge anyone who has business successes and achievements to share to get entering. All finalists will join an alumnae of almost 200 business women and be invited to an exclusive overnight retreat in advance of the Awards.”

The list of award categories is as follows:

• Advancing Diversity in the Workplace

• Best Customer Service (there are two award levels within this category)

• Best in Professional Services (two awards)

• Best Marketing Campaign (two awards)

• Best New Start Up
