CUT price retailer TK Maxx has today opened its doors on a new 23,000 sq ft store at Ards Shopping Centre.

It is the latest brand to launch at the complex which has undergone a £7 million redevelopment under owners Belfast Office Properties.

Others have included JD Sports while B&M Bargains is also due to open a 10,000 sq ft store later this month.

The new store openings have created dozens of new full and part-time jobs.

Paul Devlin of Belfast Office Properties said: “We are very pleased to welcome these new openings and see the redevelopment take shape.

"The new stores signify the continuing demand for Ards Shopping Centre from major UK brands, with more exciting signings yet to be announced. The retail line-up continues to grow in appeal thanks to our significant investment and delivers the best shopping destination in the region.”

Tony Kernan and Gary Martin of Lambert Smith Hampton, who manage the centre, acted on behalf of Ards Shopping Centre in these deals.
