Video: Riverdance performers create lockdown performance for Trócaire

STARS of Riverdance, including three dancers who have returned to work as doctors in Irish hospitals, have taken part in a compilation video filmed from lockdown in beautiful locations around the world in support of Trócaire.

More than 40 dancers were involved with three wearing their scrubs and dancing in hospital corridors. Among the dancers were four from Northern Ireland - Amy-Mae Dolan from Tyrone, Olivia Murray from Armagh and Lauren Smyth and Jason O'Neill from Belfast.

Trócaire has warned of a 60% drop in donations as its annual Lenten appeal was hit by the coronavirus pandemic. The Irish charity says the deficit puts its life-saving programmes around the world at risk. It is asking people to donate the contents of their Trócaire box either online, by phone or by post.
