Just announced: Jason Byrne at The Ulster Hall, December 11

Jason Byrne has announced a return to Belfast

FOLLOWING his hugely successful 2015 tour, Jason Byrne will be returning to the stage in October this year with his new show Jason Byrne is Propped Up.

On his last tour, the Dublin funnyman and Edinburgh Fringe veteran reintroduced his trademark prop comedy into the mix along with his usual audience participation-driven stand-up.

It proved a huge success, with crowds demanding even more silly props – and Jason has been only too happy to oblige.

This year, expect more giant ducks, more rubber hands, owls, big wooden pegs and other weird and wonderful tools of his trade.

You might even get a glimpse of a mouse with a moustache.

Jason Byrne Is Propped Up will run for 35 dates, climaxing at the Ulster Hall Belfast on December 11.

Announcing the tour, Jason said: "On my last tour, I brought back prop comedy and the audiences couldn’t stop laughing.

"So I thought, why not create an entire show full of props? It's going to be very silly and absolutely trouser-wettingly funny."

Best bring extra pants.
