BELFAST punk icons Stiff Little Fingers have announced the return of their annual Putting The 'Fast' in Belfast music festival for this summer.

Jake Burns and co will return to Custom House Square as the headliners of another multi-band bill on Saturday August 19.

This year's festival will be the fifth instalment of the annual event, with a line-up also featuring Peter Hook & The Light performing Joy Division and New Order numbers, ex-Sex Pistol Glen Matlock, Belfast proto-punks The Starjets and DJing courtesy of Good Vibrations founder Terri Hooley.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday March 10 at 9am via ticketmaster.ie
