PHOTOGRAPHIC gallery Belfast Exposed is hosting an exhibition by Pulitzer Prize winning Co Antrim photographer Cathal McNaughton of some of his work during the Rohingya refugee crisis.

Former Irish News snapper McNaughton travelled to Bangladesh in 2017 to document the plight of Rohingya Muslims violently displaced from their homes in neighbouring Myanmar by that country's military in what the UN has described as a "textbook example of ethnic cleansing".

The Cushendall native is currently international news agency Reuters' chief photographer in India and now has more than 10 years’ experience covering conflicts around the world.

:: The exhibition runs from tomorrow until March 28. More at belfastexposed.org/exhibitions/rohingya/
